I'm in northen Illinois (northwest of Chicago - pretty close to Wisonsin).
I went to college in Normal.
My in-laws live in a small town right outdide of Washington.

I now live 80 mile northwest of downtown Chicago. Went to school until 5th grade in Chicago until the family moved us North to Antioch which I'm now about 50 mile west of it.

I am 30 mins east of Springfield.

I went to WIU(Western Illinois) for a few years in the mid 1990s in Macomb, which is right near the Missouri/Iowa border. I took the Peoria charter bus home a couple of times and there was a pickup at ISU.
I forgot to mention that my family has been in the Chicago-metro area now for generations. My (paternal)grandma lives in Skokie, my mom lives in Des Plaines and my brother lives in Itasca(just south of Schaumburg). We all get together for birthdays and holidays.

Hi all! I'm not in IL anymore but lived there until 5 years ago. It's been fun to see people who live near all the places I was! So, let's see, I've lived in:
Havana (anyone heard of it?)
Bloomington-Normal (high school and some college)
Macomb (WIU grad)
Rockford
Havana!! That is too funny!! I know exactly where that is!! Someone else mentioned Washington, that's a small town. I live in a very small town, population 1600 about 1 hour North of Springfield. I have lived in Elgin, Algonquin and just over the boarder into Wisconsin (near the Pleasant Company building) in a place called Lily Lake, about halfway between Lake Geneva and Kenosha.
